Rapid City Insulation Company was founded in 2025 by a crew that had spent years working on homes across the Black Hills region and kept seeing the same problem: homeowners paying high heating bills because their crawl spaces, attics, and rim joists had never been properly insulated. Rapid City homes - especially the ranch houses and bungalows built through the 1950s, 60s, and 70s in neighborhoods like Canyon Lake and West Boulevard - were built long before anyone cared much about energy efficiency.
